This pure tea tree oil is distilled from the leaves of the tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) which grows in Queensland and New South Wales of Australia.
Tea tree oil is well known for its natural healing properties which help to cleanse the skin and support grazes and skin blemishes. Tea tree oil does not negatively affect normal skin cell growth.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil 100% Pure contains at least 30% more of the active ingredient, terpinen-4-oL, than the Australian and International standards. This product also has a lower risk of skin irritation because it contains less of the skin-irritating natural compound, para-cymene.
