This product is formulated with 5 key nutrients to support healthy liver function and support for both phase I and phase II. It is also designed to support the bodies' natural antioxidant defences.
Milk Thistle Extract - rich in silymarin which is actually a collection of the flavonolignans silybin, silychristin and silydianin. This powerful herb supports liver health.
Taurine - for your body to eliminate unwanted fat-soluble compounds and toxins bile acids conjugate by binding to either Taurine or Glycine. Taurine is also important for a healthy response to free radicals and for some phase II detox pathways.
NAC (N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine) - a precursor to glutathione production in the body, this is a common supplemental form of the amino acid L-cysteine. Glutathione is one of the bodies' key antioxidants to deactivate many free radicals including hydroxyl and superoxide radicals. It's also needed for the production of glutathione peroxidase which is another vital liver antioxidant.
Alpha Lipoic Acid - another potent antioxidant which is both water and fat soluble allowing it to give broad cellular protection. It is able to recycle other antioxidants including vitamin C, E and glutathione.
TMG (Trimethylglycine) - promotes healthy levels of the methyl donor SAMe (s-adenosylmethionine) in the liver to support healthy liver cell function and healthy fat metabolism.
