This product contains both DIM (diindolylmethane) and I3C (indole-3-carbinol). I3C is found in cabbage, broccoli and other vegetables in the brassica family. DIM is produced from I3C when it is broken down by stomach acid.
Both of these indoles support the breakdown of estrogen metabolites and thus may support normal estrogen hormone balance and a favourable ratio of estrogens.
In our modern lifestyle and diet we are exposed to many different xenoestrogens (chemicals which mimic estrogen) and can cause hormonal disruption.
Indoles also support healthy liver detoxification.
