I did a special blood test for omega 3 levels and found I was severely low which can be common in the western world. I am also suffering from a chronic illness and knew that Omega 3 (of the highest quality) would aid my symptoms and recovery. Extensive research has documented the health benefits of EPA and DHA, which include not only a healthy heart, but brain and cognitive function, joint mobility, eye health, healthy skin and hair, and a normally functioning immune response. All of these symptoms were showing in my ill health. Since taking the Nordic Omega 3 (brand recommended by my doctor due to ingredients and quality) I have experienced no side effects or fishy after taste and can see over time a reduction in symptoms.
