Borage is the richest plant source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) which is an omega-6 essential fatty acid that can only be obtained through the diet. This product contains cold-pressed, hexane-free borage oil that is sourced from the borage seeds (Borago officinalis) and is stabilised.
GLA is important for the synthesis of the good prostaglandins which are involved in immune system regulation. Prostaglandins are hormone-like substances within the body.
