This scientifically researched blend provides Epicor prebiotic with Bacillus coagulans probiotic plus the amino acid L-glutamine and the important immune-supporting mineral Zinc. By combining both pre-and probiotics the synergistic result means that a high CFU count is not needed for it to be effective. Both pre-and probiotics also work together to support a healthy gut pH to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria. Bacillus coagulans is a very resistant spore-forming friendly bacteria that are able to withstand heat, moisture, and gastric digestive juices to reach the intestines intact. It does not start to grow and multiply until it has moved through the stomach and reaches the correct environment in the intestines.
