Deva Vegan Omega-3 DHA-EPA products are high quality omega-3 products derived from algae and packaged in vegetarian capsules. They are available in both liquid and capsule form.
The algal oil used in this product is grown in a pure, contaminant free environment away from the ocean. This makes it an excellent alternative to fish oil and can also be confidently used by vegetarians and vegans alike.

Deva DHA-EPA is rich in both DHA (Docosahexinoic acid) and EPA (Eicosapentanoic acid) derived from a completely vegetarian source (i.e. Schizochytrium sp of microalgae).
Algal Omega-3 oil has been commercially available for a while but it did not contain meaningful amounts of EPA. This new product contains both DHA and EPA from microalgae that is grown in a controlled environment, eliminating the risk of oceanic contamination.
From start to finish, it is produced in an FDA-inspected facility, under current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations with controls in place to ensure the highest quality product. Because the algae is grown outside of the ocean, there is no risk of ocean-borne contaminants such as PCBs and dioxins.
Deva DHA & EPA oil comes in three different forms:
- DHA-EPA 200 mg 90 delayed-release caps -
1 cap provides 120 - 140 mg DHA and 60 - 80 mg EPA.
- Deva DHA-EPA 300 mg 90 caps -
1 cap provides 180 - 210 mg DHA and 90 - 120 mg EPA.
- Deva DHA-EPA Liquid 60 mls -
An adult dose of 14 drops provides 120-140mg of DHA and 60-80mg EPA
The delayed release vegetarian capsules of the 200mg version ensure there is no aftertaste or repeating issues.

For adults take one (1) or two (2) capsules a day with food or as directed by a health care professional.
Deva DHA-EPA 300 mg 90 caps:
For adults take one (1) vegan softgel daily with food or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Deva DHA-EPA Liquid 60 mls:
Adults take 20 drops, children over 2 years of age take 10 drops daily with food or as directed by a health care professional. For children younger than 2 years old ask a doctor.

Naturally occurring components of the algal oil may become visible in the softgels over time. These red or brown coloured components are perfectly normal and are not harmful.
