Cyanocobalamin 0.1% (Vitamin B12 25 mcg) 25 mg

Contains No Added: Dairy, yeast, sugar, artificial colours, sweeteners, flavours, or preservatives.
Adults: Take 1 capsule twice daily with food or as directed by a suitably qualified health professional.
Caution: Avoid in people diagnosed with Phenylketonuria (PKU), a genetic disorder that affects the enzyme needed to break down phenylalanine. When a build-up of phenylalanine occurs in the blood it becomes toxic to the brain. PKU screening is a routine test for newborn babies. Phenylketonuria is estimated to affect 1:15,000 individuals. Avoid in migraine sufferers taking MAOI’s – the combination of phenylalanine plus tyrosine produces tyramine which can lead to a migraine crisis in people on MAOI medication. Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to a lack of studies during these times.
