Anti-Inflammatory Sunrise Smoothie

Ingredients


1 C unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk)

1 ripe banana

½ C frozen mango chunks

½ tsp ground turmeric

½ tsp fresh ginger, grated

1 Tbs chia seeds

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

A pinch of black pepper (to enhance turmeric absorption)

Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker smoothie)


Method


Prepare Ingredients: Gather all ingredients. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes

Blend: In a high-speed blender, combine all the ingredients

Blend Until Smooth: Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy

Adjust Consistency: If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more almond milk and blend again until you reach the desired consistency

Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately
